Terms
SportsRPG is run by Brett Feldman ("we"). These terms apply when you create an account or play SportsRPG. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Who can play
You must be 13 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you. One person may hold more than one account, but accounts must not be used to pass cash, items or wins to each other (see Fair play).
Your account
- Keep your password and recovery codes safe. Anyone who has them can use your account.
- Without a confirmed email or a saved recovery code, a forgotten password can't be recovered.
- You can delete your account at any time from Locker, then Account.
Fair play
Don't:
- use bots, scripts or modified clients to play for you;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
- use extra accounts to feed cash, items, market trades or tournament wins to another account;
- buy, sell or trade accounts, cash or items for real money;
- overload, probe or attack the service.
Being a good teammate
Club chat, usernames, club names and descriptions must not harass, threaten, impersonate or share anyone's personal information, and must not contain hate speech, sexual content or spam. You can report anything that breaks these rules from the game.
What you write
You keep the rights to what you write in the game. You let us store it, show it to the players it's meant for and keep it as described in the Privacy Policy, only to run the game.
Moderation
Moderators can delete messages and mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. We may also undo cash, items or results gained by breaking them.
Game content and virtual items
Cash, items, gear and other virtual goods have no real-world value and can't be exchanged for money. They are part of the game, not property you own. We may rebalance, change or remove them as the game develops, and we may reset progress if a bug or exploit makes it necessary.
The service
SportsRPG is provided as it is, without warranties. We try to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we aren't liable for lost progress or indirect damages to the extent the law allows. We may change or end the game; if we end it, we'll give notice in the game first.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and say so in the game's "What's new" notes. Playing after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, USA, except where the law of the country you live in gives you rights that can't be waived.
